#twinmomsdodallas

This weekend.  This weekend that has been in planning mode for 3 months.  Finally came.  and is gone.  I actually am going through semi-withdrawls from these 5 ladies after spending over 24 hours straight.. sharing laughter (like laugh till you cry), tough stuff, complaints, successes, and food. Lots and lots of food.

We ate. We laughed. We got our hair done.  We laughed.  We drank (coffee and Coke.. and a couple beers & Bloody Mary's here and there), we ate some more.  We laughed some more.

Ya'll.  I wouldn't change a second about this weekend.
We all needed it.

We met at Meri's house in the Dallas area on Saturday afternoon before lunch- and of course had to take some drill-team photos (as Meredith liked to say..) before the day got away from us and we failed to get in some good ones from the very beginning.   We were determined to document this weekend, and I'd say, and enough strangers can back us up, we did a really good job of it.

Our official #twinmom hand gesture.  So original, we know.

I can say that most of these photos speak for themselves, so basically this will be a whole lotta picture purging, with a little commentary in between.

On to lunch!  Mr. Mesero didn't fail to impress and was so delicious.  I think I probably offended the waiter when I asked him for a BIG bowl of salsa.  He looked at me like I was crazy.
I need my sauce, dude.

Next up.. herrrr (hair).  We were trying to find something 'mom friendly' to do, that was age appropriate for the 28ish year old gals of this group. We all agreed on The Dry Bar - I had never been before, but had been dying to try it forever!

Basically:  It's $40 for them to wash, blow dry, and style your hair.  The best style you'll have in like forever.  And if you hate it, it washes out (duh).
No cutting, no coloring, just styling.

Back to the hotel we went, but not before some AFTER pictures and a little silliness before piling into our clown car.
Big Texas hair at its finest right there, yo.

We stayed at the Hyatt in Downtown and it was beautiful!  The rooms were amazing, and definitely had enough space for 6 ladies to get ready before heading out for an evening.
Without diaper bags.  Without sippy cups.  No puppy's or paci's to worry with..
We were baby free!

These ladies.  SWOON.
Dinner time!
Victor Tangos.  Holy tapas- this was a fabulous place to eat!  I had the Ahi Tuna Nachos.  There were also a couple burgers, and some duck, fig, and goat cheese flatbreads hanging out on the table.

After dinner we spent the rest of the evening on the porch at Tap House.  Drinks (there were drinks..) and amazing conversation with these mommas I will never forget.

MORNING!  We all slept in!

Breakfast and Cafe Mochas at Breadwinners before we all parted ways.  I felt like we just kept eating, but I was always STARVING by the time we sat down to eat!  I was sad to leave them, but really missed my sweet girls and Jordan - man I missed that guy!

Going through all of these I'm sort of missing these girls even more.  Our group texting ceased for 48 hours, but the moment we left one another on Sunday morning the mass texts came flooding again.

I can never get enough of these ladies. So thankful for them and the friendship that has randomly formed. I count them as some of my best girls on the planet, thats for sure.
