The Week's End

This last week has been so busy.  In fact- I feel like I've been chasing my tail since going back to work.  Not because going back to work has been overwhelming.. because it really hasn't. Not because my babies have been climbing the walls and screaming like banshees from the moment I walk in the door until they are sound asleep in their beds.. because they haven't.  Not because Jordan has been gone all week with his usual busy bee schedule..because he has actually been home just about every single night. And not because of repeat sleepless nights- because hallelujah, Baker Bree has been sleeping well at night for the first time since I went back to work.  This week was good.  But truth be told, this week my big girls, the littlest sister, and my hubby have been at the top of my list.
Blogging took a backseat, and thats okay.
So.  What have I been doing this week?
We started the week on Monday with our annual family/Christmas card pictures session with Brittany. We had one location planned and then randomly switched it up last minute, and you guys- I love every single shot Britt captured.  The girls (all three of them) were in fantastic moods which proved to be the key element to getting repeat smiles.
..We may or may not have planned our coordinated outfits for errands.  The grocery clerks and post office gal definitely appreciated it.
Also.  She's 100% in love with looking at herself in the camera.
RED CUPS are here.  It is officially the holidays.
I didn't have a white wall to document this 'holiday first', so I didn't 'gram about it.
But I did text it out to my besties.
Such a blogger.  Sue me.
Wednesday night we met some friends to play on the playground behind Market Street on a whim for pizza and $4 glasses of house wine.  These sisters were so unimpressed by the phones in their faces- but the other kiddos played, had drive by bites of food here and there and then played some more.
We parted ways when it felt like midnight..
It was 7:47pm when we got in the car.
On Wednesday morning, Jacqueline was scheduled to deliver her third baby and the EIGHTH addition to our little Supper Club group.
ITS A GIRL!!  Introducing Miss Sophia Rose.  The sweetest addition to their new family of five.  Thursday morning after dropping the big girls off at preschool, Jordan and I stopped by the hospital to visit and meet this perfect little babe.  Emotional was an understatement.  My eyes welled with tears as I smelled her baby cheeks.
c h e e k s! I love her!
I finally made it home after a couple work meetings to this perfect babe of my own.  She all the sudden looked gigantic to me after holding that wee little one.  I mean.
Belly.  Arm Rolls.  Double Chins.
Yep- I said chins in its plural form.
I finally threw a real meal on the table - Pizza Pasta Casserole.
Recipe to come next week:)  But everyone loved it and it was so flipping easy!  It was the perfect hearty meal for the rains that brought a cold front in for the first full weekend of November.
So.  There is our week.  Not totally blogworthy, but thats what life is at the moment. We have a relatively low key weekend ahead, and although I l o v e having things to do, I'm sort of looking forward to just going with the flow and making plans as they come.

I hope you all have a fantastic end to your week!
XO!

I love that you put your family first and blog second, but I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't stalk your blog for a new post every. single. day. :)
Also, once again I'm asking where a clothing item is from - this time it's the yellow shirt. Can you please start shopping for me too?

Amazing how you think your baby is still little and then you see a brand new one and realize how much yours has grown!

Just recently found your blog & I am loving it. Your little ones are so sweet! I adore how you love to dress them up & embrace the girly side. Not sure if you have already shared this or not.....Could you share the source of your girls buffalo plaid shirts from your Christmas shoot?

Thanks so much,
