...Mr. Randy Travis!! For Jordan's birthday I gave him tickets to the Randy Travis concert. Randy Travis, along with George Strait and Alan Jackson, is Jordan's all time favorite singer. If you know my husband at all, you know he LOVES country music. He particularly loves Randy Travis because he often speaks of his MeMe and the memories he has back from when he was about 6 years old. Last night, yet again, he told me the stories about being in his grandmother's kitchen watching his MeMe make him a sandwich and drinking a 'real' Coca~Cola and listening to Randy Travis play on the old radio undermounted to the kitchen cabinets. We had a great time, two-stepping (Yes..Jordan Two-Stepped, but I'm pretty sure I was leading!) and listening to Mr. Travis from our AWESOME seats.

"Beef..Its What's for Dinner"..OR is it?!
One of my very favorite recipe website is allrecipes.com. If you have never heard of it, it is a website full of recipes, all submitted and reviewed by members. (It is free to be a member, by the way!) This website is my go to for recipes..whether I'm stuck for dinner or need a random recipe for guacamole. Anyway, I have been a 'member' since 2004, and have been submitting recipes since about that time. I have six that have been in editorial review..since 2004! I know that there are hundreds of recipes submitted everyday and before they are added to the public collection, they are actually made in a test kitchen, but it is still so frustrating to have this long list waiting in review for years! I logged in the other night to view one of my 'recipes in review' to add some of the ingredients to my weekly grocery list. To my surprise, my Veggie Burger had been published!!!!! I was extatic! I am making them this week for dinner, by request of Jordan, the Best of Everything Veggie Burgers
I am still so excited!!!! Woo-Hoo!

Happy Birthday, Jordan!
So...I'm a bit behind, but things have been busy in the Massey household! March 3rd Jordan turned 27! Woo-hoo..one year closer to the big 3-0! Ok, so Jordan was not quite as excited about that idea, but he did have a great birthday.
I love, love, love my chef pig in my kitchen :) He wished Jordan a Happy Birthday all week long.
We started the weekend before with a birthday dinner at Jordan's parent's house with his sister and cousin and his wife with their precious little one, Rayn.
All the girls :) Amber, Ashley, Rayn, Bree, and Jenna. Ashley is due with their 2nd baby girl in April! We are so excited to meet Rayn's little sister!
Rayn has an obsession with the dog bed. We kept her for a night while Ashley and Aldon went out of town, and she insisted that Brittany shared her bed with her. Brittany was so confused, bless her heart!
Jordan feeding Rayn meatballs and applesauce. Nice combo for the 14 month old.
Jenna and Rayn, posing for the camera so very well.
Jordan cutting his chocolate cake I made him. It was delicious, and pretty, too! I was proud of that creation. It took some planning, but I came up with this chocolate fudge cake with white cream filling.
On Jordan's actual birthday we decided to go to Saltgrass Steak House for dinner...it was yummy, too! I always get the Hickory Chicken and Mashed Potatoes.
Here's to another year for my sweetie! Happy Birthday to you!
