WE EAT | Baked Spaghetti

Growing up I was terribly picky.  Bird like {and I wonder where my children get it}.
I was an athlete from the moment I could walk and my pre-game fuel of choice was a pop-tart and cheese itz.  All things on a dietitian's 'don't' list.
I was like this, actually, until Jordan and I started dating.  The words "I hate Mexican food" came out of my mouth on more than one occasion, and thank the sweet Lord Jordan put me in my place.

Red sauce and noods. Among the top few things I would eat as a child (and into my adulthood). Eggs and Potatoes, and Fried Biscuits with Chili (from a can..) and Cheese were my other favorites.  In any consolation, my mom is from Louisville, KY and her name is, in fact, Paula.

Needless to say, I've come a heck of a long way in my tastebud journey.

Recipe : Mel's Kitchen Cafe

I'd say from the looks of these next pictures, it was a pretty successful introduction between pissssketti and the little ladies.
that hair, tho

I'm doing my best to expose Parker and Jolie to all kinds of foods, but I could never leave out one of my childhood favorites.
Fried Biscuits and Canned Chili with Cheese is on the menu for next week.

that was a joke. At least for right now, anyway.

YUM!! I am a sucker for any pasta dish and I love that variation from the normal spaghetti. I love that this is a Mel's recipe - I'm always hitting her site up for meals! Those pics are tooooo cute of the birds enjoying their noodle pie :) also, I hope you're not kidding about the fried biscuits & chili because oddly that sounds amazing and actually made my mouth water! 😁

My sister was the PICKIEST eater! I was as well, but not like her! Peanut Butter sandwiches and waffles were a big staple in that girl's diet. She's turning 25 tomorrow and I'm pretty sure that hasn't changed! :) Looks like the girls enjoyed their spaghetti though! Looks delish!

We tried Spaghetti Pie tonight with our Avery Grace! Considering the immediate need to give her a bath after dinner, I'd say we have a favorite on our hands!
