we've been swimming in snot and fever around these parts for the last week or so.
chest colds for everyone and just when I feel like we are on the up and up someone spikes at 102 and the dominos fall all over again.. when your babies are sick and there isn't a whole lot you can do for them its rough! chest colds for everyone. even Jordan and myself are hacking our way through life at the moment. its terrible.. and we are all ready to be over it!
so.. last week before all this fever+congestion mess one of my oldest and dearest friends gave me a much needed trim and spring update on the hair. she always gives the girls a trim while I am processing, and this time I finally made the leap.

Jolie has amazing hair- like absolutely gorgeous hair that hangs down nearly to her little bootie. it is possible that I do in fact have hair envy of my three year old. its naturally parted heavily to the side and has a little curl to the ends after its been wet. I don't know if I'll ever be able to cut her hair! I am afraid we might be near the end of the piggy buns with her because its getting so heavy- it takes 3-4 rubber bands to hold each of those buns these days..
but miss Parker, that girl. her hair has always been unruly and after it fell out as a newborn, it fell out again after she turned one year old. since then we have made some progress, and its actually grown quite a bit since I started having it trimmed about a year and a half ago. their BB has mentioned giving Parker bangs a time or two and after looking back at recent pictures of her I realized how far back her hairline starts- like the middle of her head. so. we did it. I had bangs when I was young- maybe not this young, but I think I was four or five. I obviously eventually grew them out, but it was fun for the time being, and I cannot get over how sweet she looks.
like a different kid!
like a big girl.
growing up way too fast, these two.
these pictures make my heart smile and I giggle as I look through them.
a perfect depiction of their sweet personalities - is it obvious which one has a little ADD?
I absolutely adore them.

I have hair envy! LOVE the bangs.
OMG! She looks SO perfect! Like girlfriend should've been born with bangs! I've finally accepted that I will just never look right with bangs but that doesn't mean I don't still envy those that can rock them.
Your girls always always look so cute..So adorable!!!
