Sunday afternoon we had a little party in honor of my sweet Baker baby -- who is officially 7 weeks old already! My best friend and Baker's favorite Auntie hosted an open house sip and sweets to celebrate this girl. In case you don't know exactly what a sip and see is its basically where you invite people over to 'sip' (drink) and 'see' the baby. Most of our closest friends and nearby family have loved on Miss Baker, but many others and out of towners had yet to officially meet her.
Even though a lot has changed on the baby market over the last 2.5 years since Parker and Jolie were born, I have basically everything I could possibly need in near perfect condition from when they were wee littles, so this wasn't really a party for gifts but more of a toast to our newest addition.
Of course anything entertainment related Ashley basically does it perfect, so you can imagine that I was over the moon when I got my invitation in the mail. This girl taught me everything I know about throwing a good party.
Ash put a spin on the traditional sip & see and added in sips and sweets.

Jordan and Uncle J took the twins and Grayson out for lunch and to pal around while we partied with the littlest sister. Ashley's mom and Nana were already at the house when we arrived. They were so sweet to have brought the girls some goodies and of course these sister girls were over the moon- accessories and princess fairy wings.
Uncle J got in some snuggles with the guest of honor before it was time for them to go.
This is easily my favorite picture of the entire day.

Baker agrees even though this picture says otherwise:)
thank you
such a special day. Baker met all of the most important people in her life (even though she won't remember any of it). Even with all the stimulus of being passed from person to person, she was in good spirits and such a great sport about it all.
after the party was over, the daddy's and the other babes arrived back to Ashley's house.
We were all exhausted from the day's festivities.. which meant we got in our jammies and called it a night with pizza in front of the television.
happy sip + sweets, baker bree
you are so very loved, sweet girl

You guys always throw the best looking parties.
Yippee for the sweetest party! Wish we had gotten more time to chat though- I'm going to go ahead and formally request snuggle time with Baker when we meet on Friday. She kills me with how precious she is!!!! Love you XO
Love this idea!
LOVE the idea of a sip and see! Cutest details x
Everything is so adorable! You always know how to throw fabulous themed parties!
How come we never hear anything of your side of the family? Baker is the perfect combo of Parker and Jolie :)
LOVE this idea! What a gorgeous celebration!
Codie- I think she's a perfect mix, too! I/we don't have a relationship with my family these days. It's healthier this way:)
I understand. We do not have a relationship with my husbands side of the family and I worry and pray about how to explain that to my kids one day when they see that their friends have two grandmas and grandpas and they don't :( I hope they don't resent us for our decision to keep them away as it is healthier for us to stay away as well.
Everything is so pretty!!
I've never heard of this "sip & see" idea... it's so cute! And the decor for this party is downright dreamy, I love all the little details!!
