Now that they can hear you, it's a great time to start reading to them, especially since it's a way for dads to feel closer to them when they still can't feel them on the outside. We picked a book and read it every night so they would get used to the sounds and patterns. We read that same book to them in the NICU, hoping it would be comforting to them. Some of our favorites are: "Pajama Time" by Sandra Boynton (actually anything by Sandra Boynton!), "Llama Llama Red Pajama" by Anna Dewdney, "Go Dog Go" by PD Eastman, "Are You My Mother?" by PD Eastman, and "Guess How Much I Love You?"Maureen W. It's the only time you can eat cheetos and mac-n-cheese without feeling too guilty! She was right. It's just part of the never gonna-be-the-same body that pregnancy gifts us with! ha But when your tummy snaps back and finds it's shape again post babies...their visibility will diminish tremendously and you will be the only one would knows they're there! There are much bigger fish to fry anyway, so do the lotions, but don't put a lot of stock in them :) Just sayin... Glad you are feeling so well!Mandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10352484663491512473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7763380180041018095.post-86621603682880387072012-07-19T08:04:53.612-05:002012-07-19T08:04:53.612-05:00Hey Amber! I love reading all your preggo posts! I...Hey Amber! I love reading all your preggo posts! I remember the very first time I felt Sarah move inside my belly was around Christmas. I was sitting on the couch with the laptop on my lap, surfing the web and listening to music. Well, as you know, Mr. Bublé came out with his Christmas album and that's what I happened to be listening to! Sarah started dancing all over my belly! She has good taste, just like her mama! ;) So, since they can hear music now, why don't you play some music for those sweet little girls and see if you can get them to dance for you?! A lot of people told me it feels like gas bubbles or butterflies. I didn't think so. I thought it felt more like a soft muscle twitch or popcorn popping. I hope you get to feel them soon! It's an incredible feeling!

--Emily GrindleySweet Emotionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00167280574156698167noreply@blogger.com
